The C button is used to select the operating mode. A short press selects the ozone operation, followed by a short press to select negative ion operation, and then a short press to select the combined ozone and negative ion operation. Pressing the C button again will cycle through these options.

If there is no operation within two seconds of selecting a function button, the screen will be locked. To unlock the screen, simply long press the desired function button for two seconds.
